If one wants to visit Shimla by Air, its Airport is situated in Jabbalhatti which is situated at the distance of 23 km.

Shimla Bus stand is just at the walking distance from the Shimla railway station. Many transportation facilities are available there, once can choose taxi service or bus service according to their need and comfort. But one need to be expert in bargaining or should have proper knowledge of fare for getting taxi in Shimla.

The main visiting places are not very far from the Shimla Railway Staiton. Himachal State Museum and Observatory House situated at the distance of 0.5 km. Mall Road and St Michaels Cathedral exists 3.5 km from station. The Ridge, Scandal Point is at the distance of 6.5 km and Tara Devi Temple is 7 km far from the station. Tourists also like to see Kufri (22 km) and Chail (30 km).
